Today we went to the Louvre museum and saw the Mona Lisa. There were heaps of people crowed around to see the masterpiece. There were a lot of nude statues as well and they had a big collection of mummies too. Then we walked along the Seine to Notre Dame. This is a big church and we didn't go inside because there was a huge que. But picture this, it started to snow and it wasn't even cold! We went around the corner to the Pantheon. There wasn't any que so we decided to go in. inside we saw Victor Hugo's crypt. He wrote the Hunchback of Notre Dame. At the Montmartre markets I got a portrait painted of me. For dessert we had lots of French pastries. This will be my last blog entry before we have 40 hours getting home.

What a busy day
Today we went to the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and the Catacombs. First we went to the Arc de Triomphe a big arch which remembers all that died in world war 1. We carried on to the Eiffel Tower. The que was humungous we waited 2 hours in the freezing cold my feet got numb after a while. But it was all worth it. Last but not least the Catacombs. It is a place were people put the dead once there flesh had rotted away. Another great day. P.S in the last picture I'm saying "mum I'm eating and playing on the ipad leave me alone!"

Arrived in Paris
From London we took the Eurostar to Paris. The view was amazing you got to see the country side of France we even saw an old castle. Oh I almost forgot our train had a few engineering problems which was a little bit annoying. So at one stage we ended up stopping but we did start again. When we arrived and had checked into our apartment we went to the Sacre Coeur which is a humongous church. From there you could see most of Paris including the Eiffel tower. When my dad said "look the Eiffle tower" I was jumping with joy. Then we had a walk around the area, there were a lot of shops that sold mini Eiffel towers, magnets and art. We just went to see the tower at night the view of the twinkling lights was a magnificent sight.

My Last Day in London
Today we went to the Tower of London, which is right beside London Bridge. The Tower of London was once used as a prison and people got beheaded there and that means getting your head chopped off! It was freezing outside so luckily we went to the vault first and that had the Crown Jewels in it. We saw the Queens crown and lots of other crowns from other kings and queens. They looked really heavy and were all covered in jewels. At first I didn't know that they were real but dad told me that they were. Once we had seen the whole tower we walked along the Tames ( which is the river that runs through London) to St Paul's Cathedral. It was a huge church and the ceiling was a colourful dome. Next we walked across the millennium bride to the Tate Modern art gallery. There were things there that you would not even think were art, but I guess in a way anything can be art (e.g a pile of bricks on the ground). But there was a famous painting by Monet called the Water Lilies which we saw. What an amazing time in London. A whole new experience and now I am ready to face anything that Paris chucks at me (LOL).
