Having Fun In Dubai

Well so much for the 1200 channels. I spent from Auckland to Sydney feeling sick and then I was sick just before we landed. I slept for most of the flight from Sydney to Dubai. Dubai is amazing. Yesterday we went on a tour around the city. We saw palm island, the tallest building in the world, the Dubai museum, and lots of men wearing white gowns and women in black burkas. In the afternoon we went out in the desert to go to the sand dunes. My mum screamed the whole time we were in the 4 wheel drive because she kept thinking the car was going to roll when we went over steep dunes. We had a ride on a camel and its just like riding a horse but a lot higher and bumpier. Then we went to a Bedouin settlement that sold sand art. I got one with my name written inside it with a camel on the dunes. You got to see the man making it. It was really fascinating. The man wrote my name with liquid glue inside the bottle, added some black sand which stuck to the glue, and then added coloured sand and used a pointy stick to make the shapes. There was a place where I got a henna decoration on my arm. I got flowers and plants. Even now I have washed it off, it has left an orange stain on my skin. We saw a belly dancer while we at our dinner. We are at the Dubai Mall, which is the biggest one in the world, and I will send you some photos shortly.
